It was eight days of fun and hard work. Here we have a few pictures and a video that depict the ambiance of the Summer School.
During the Summer School some of our UrbanIxD Advisory Board members will be participating in a workshop facilitated by project partners Martin Brynskov and Gianluca Zaffiro. This event will consider emergent research topics and themes.
The UrbanIxD Summer School will be grounded in the emerging discipline of urban interaction design. The Summer School will address the domain of technologically augmented, data-rich urban environments, with a particular emphasis on human activities, experiences and behaviours.
Project was developed during Interaction Design Workshop 2012: Real Utopias. Expanding on the current popularity of the two TV series based in Split, we created a worst case scenario in which the city, facing economic meltdown, receives an offer from a television network “Good Life Entertainment”, to transform itself into a giant interactive TV and on-line programme as a means of saving the inhabitants from poverty and unemployment.
The UrbanIxD project Summer School is to take place in the beautiful and historic town of Split in Croatia. This will be an interdisciplinary, workshop style event.
