Andreas Förster

Andreas Förster is an information & interaction designer, based in Graz, Austria. As a designer, he feels a strong responsibility for making our (increasingly urban) life more livable. He is the author of ‘Neighbourgood’, a book about ’Patterns & Inspirations to create livable Neighbourhoods‘. He is the co-founder of ‘Animal Design Studio’ — a strategic design practice that revolves around sustainability by creating meaningful products and communication. He has a background in computer science, media art and sustainability and is interested in data visualization, computational design and the future of our cities. He is also the father of a five month old daughter, takes long walks with his dog and tweets at @andi_foerster.
